The Bretonstone® Resin Quartz Plants manufacture slabs of large dimensions, made by compacting the material through “vacuum vibro-compression” of mixtures composed of stone aggregate, fine mineral fillers and an organic binder.
The slab size ranges from 125 x 306 cm up to 212 x 367 cm of the Bretonstone® Super Jumbo Technology.
Slab thickness ranges from 10 to 30 mm.
The slabs can be sold as they are, or processed into finished products of the desired size.
The production capacity, depending on the model and composition of the plant, can vary from 1.500 m2 to 3.300 m2 of slabs per working day.
QUARTZ + RESIN = COUNTERTOP
Bretonstone® is a compound made up of 90-95% natural quartz in form of grits bound with polyester resin.
It is extraordinarily hard and resilient: an excellent surface for kitchen worktops, bathrooms, floors and wall cladding using the minimum number of joints.
Bretonstone® production process mixes quartz-resin mixtures in different colours and pigment powders in order to realize a wide range of brilliant colour patterns on the full body of the slab.
Bretonstone® is a non-porous surface and highly resistant to stains of coffee, wine, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, makeup and many other everyday products.
The hardness of quartz plus the elasticity of polymers provide to Bretonstone® top performance in flexural strength and impact resistance.
