FINDING A COMPROMISE WITH THE CUSTOMER
The relationship Vittorio Baghin has with his customers is unique. Vittorio adds: "Cement is a very difficult material to develop and often you need to be brave enough to tell the customer I can't do it. What we do at Agglo Baghin is to listen to the needs of our customers in order to develop the cement-based product closest to what they want but which, at the same time, meets the strict rules of cement. It is hard to say no to a customer, but it is necessary to do so in order to make sure that the material does not break within a short period. One of the biggest risks a cement manufacturer can take is to underestimate the technical-chemical component in favour of the aesthetic one. The result is a seemingly perfect product that may have flexing problems later on."
