Marmi Bonazzo chooses the best solution to polish marble

28 November, 2017
The company was founded by Gaetano Bonazzo in the '70s. It has been using the best technologies for marble processing for years; today Gaetano’s sons Emanuele (Administrative and Commercial Director) and Ettore (Production Manager) manage it. The company took the opportunity to implement those technologies to their highest level thanks to a new polishing line recently purchased from Breton.

Marble slab processing, polishing and resin-treatment is the company's core business.
Marmi Bonazzo was looking for a slab polishing line that could meet its expectations in terms of production efficiency and improvement of quality standards, and found the best solution in Breton’s “Levibreton KFG 4600”. Marmi Bonazzo co-created with Breton a line that manages several methods for slab surface treatment with the utmost flexibility and simplicity.
In the processing cycle, the slabs are first calibrated and then polished by the same machine: a Levibreton KFG 4600 with 4 calibrating spindles and 12 polishing spindles.

Slab voids can then be filled, either automatically or manually, with conventional and/or U.V. mastic by passing through an intermediate line stretcher, which allows the mastic to perfectly penetrate before catalyzing. In case of not fully filled porosities, a possible retouching allows to get a perfect surface.
Finally, the slab is polished by a 18-spindle Levibreton KFG 4600, then a protective wax is applied and a high-resolution photo is taken and stored in the company digital archive.

A well-designed and well-executed investment, made in a future-oriented perspective!
